International Women’s Day: Dreams She Vit Legacy 2026
Dreams College of Creative Arts marked International Women's Day 2026 with its vibrant Dreams She Vit Legacy celebration, held on Monday, 2nd March 2026 at the Eleanor Roosevelt (ER) Studio. The event brought together students, faculty, staff, and invited guests to celebrate the milestones of women while encouraging the next generation of female leaders to believe in themselves and boldly pursue their dreams.
A Palette of Confidence & Craftsmanship
As part of the celebration, students were given an immersive creative project to illustrate, draft, and stitch their own custom garments inspired by International Women's Day.
Drawing inspiration from the official theme palette—pink, purple, violet, lavender, and white—the designers transformed their conceptual ideas into beautiful outfits that perfectly reflected confidence, creativity, and the enduring strength of women.
Words of Wisdom from Trailblazing Leaders
The programme kicked off at 3:00 p.m. under the masterful hosting of Zeinatu Issahaku. The college was privileged to learn from three heavily accomplished guest speakers who shared their profound life journeys:
Award-winning Ghanaian media personality and broadcaster.
Filmmaker, writer, and creative director renowned for utilizing storytelling to inspire social change.
Respected broadcaster, dedicated counsellor, and passionate women's empowerment advocate.
Honouring Legacy & Excellence
The celebratory atmosphere was graced by Dr. Clement Asemnyra, Founding Father of Dreams College of Creative Arts, and Susana Mantey, Honcho of the College, alongside supportive members of the faculty and administration.
A key highlight of the afternoon was the presentation of beautifully drafted citations and appreciation awards to the guest speakers in honor of their contributions to society. Concurrently, standout students were awarded for their exceptional garment creations and creative presentations, spotlighting their craftsmanship and dedication.
