Dreams College Of Creative Arts announces the refurbishment of The Garment Design And Sewing School to Victoria’s Sewing School.
One may ask, why Victoria? Victoria was lady who dwelled amidst the Hellenistic period. She was popularly perceived for making famous pretty dresses for her neighbors. Her sewing craft was admirable and communicated a sense of pure craftsmanship. Victoria’s attributes and passion towards sewing has served as a hefty source of inspiration to this course. Dreams College Of Creative Arts is so much ambitious to illuminate students to sew and posses qualities like Lady Victoria.
The Victoria’s Sewing School is a beginner/intermediate program created to drive students into mastering the craft of sewing. In this course, students will be introduced to professional sewing and garment construction methods to achieve a quality and professional finish. Instructors of this program will assist students through the proficiency of cutting and making up of garments such as skirts, blouses, dresses, shirts and occasional wears with reference to multi-size patterns.
In this program, DCCA has also decided to schedule class periods into diverse batches. The evening class (batch.1) will hold on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays with a time duration of four(4) months likewise the weekend class (batch.2) which will only occur on Saturdays with an extended time duration of six(6) months. These enhancements are now present to favor interested candidates of distinct daily dockets.
Admission is unclose to all persons above 16years of age. Note that, all engaged applicants are expected to retain at least BECE/SSCE/WASSCE certifications and also should be able to read, write, understand and communicate with English.
